1. How much will shipping cost?
- You can see a rough estimate of each item's shipping cost on the item
description page. Just use the dropdown menu to select your country. Many
items also have a choice between air and ocean freight. Select your country
and shipping preferences, and you will see an estimate of shipping cost.
This is a rough quote; actual costs may vary based on your location and the
number of parts ordered at once. Please send us an email listing all the
parts you'd like to ship together and your exact location, and we will get
you a more accurate cost in a few days.
2. What is the difference between air and ocean freight?
- Air freight shipping takes only about 1-2 weeks and the item comes direct
to your door, but it costs a bit more. Ocean freight shipping is less
expensive, but the item takes about 4-8 weeks, and the customer is
responsible for customs duties and domestic shipping from the port.
3. What options are available for this part?
- Some items have different shape or material options. If these are
available, they will be listed in a dropdown menu on the top of the product
page, next to the product name. If you have any questions about these
options, feel free to email us for clarification. If you are unsure about
the paint on your car, we recommend choosing an unpainted part so that you
can match your car exactly.
4. Will I be charged import taxes or duties?
Some countries will tax imported goods and this may apply to you.
However, even this is not consistent for every state or region within each country,
and the shipping company will also make a difference as to whether tax is charged or not.
Taxation and import duties also might not be applied if customs does not inspect your package.
However, please understand that in some cases, your country may elect to charge a tax on items you order from AutoStyle.
Unfortunately, we have no control of this.
If your government requests that you pay tax on your purchase, you must pay it to receive the product.
We are not responsible for paying your taxes.
Custom policies vary widely from country to country, and you should contact your local customs office for further information.
5. Is my item in stock?
- Most items require about 2 or 3 weeks for production. If you are on a deadline
and need a more accurate lead time, please email us and we will respond with
the item's availability.
6. Will this item fit on my car?
Most JDM companies have tested and confirmed fitment on Japanese models
only. If there are any differences between Japanese models and the models
in your country, some modification may be required to install this part on
your car.
7. Is my item street-legal?
All products sold by AutoStyle, Inc. are for off-road and show purposes
only. We do not recommend, and in fact discourage, these parts to be used on
public streets and highways.
